3x/4-2x/3=1/2

Multiply through by the common denominator  of  4, 3 and 2  =  12

12 (3x/4) - 12(2x/3) = 12 (1/2)

(36/4) x  -  (24/3)x  =  6

9x  - 8x  =  6

x  =  6
