f(x)  =  4sin(x)  +  6

g(x)   =  3x  +  5

Maximize    ( f °  g ) (x)

( f ° g) (x )  =     4 sin  ( 3x + 5)  +  6

Note that the maximum value  of sine  =  1

So......the max value  of   (f ° g)  (x)  =

4 (1)  +   6   =

10

Note that  g(x)  doesn't really matter.....it's a "red herring"

Hello and thanks for your response. I have one question though.

f(x)=4sinx+6 not sin4x+6 wouldn't that make a difference?
