Not too bad, GM

(x -1) ( x - 7) ( x + 4)           expand the first two terms

(x^2 - 8x + 7) ( x + 4)

x(x^2 - 8x + 7)   + 4(x^2 - 8x + 7)

x^3 - 8x^2 + 7x  + 4x^2 - 32x + 28  =

x^3 - 4x^2 - 25x + 28
