I found the derivative of the function: y' = \( 3 \sqrt{x} \over 2x \)-1

Then I plugged in 4, and I got -1/4. Is that correct?

y  = 3(x)^(1/2) - x

y'  =  (3/2)x^(-1/2)  - 1

So..... the slope  at  x  =  4  =   (3/2) (4)^(-1/2)  - 1   =  (3/2) / √4  - 1  =  (3/4) - 1  =  -1/4

Correct  !!!
