If  \(x^\frac34\)  is written as a radical in the form of  \(\sqrt[a]{b^c}\) , what is the value of  \(a\) ,  \(b\) , and  \(c\) ?

The denominator of the exponent is the index of the radical. So...

\(x^\frac34\,=\,\sqrt[4]{x^3}\)

Now it is in the form  \(\sqrt[a]{b^c}\)  , where

a  =  4 ,  b  =  x ,  and  c  =  3     smiley
