c  = sqrt  [ a^2  - b^2 ]    =   sqrt  [ 50  - 9 ]  =  sqrt (41)

 

a  =  sqrt (50)

 

So

As e approaches 0,  we have  a more circular than eongated ellipse

 

As e approaches 1, we have  a more eongated than circular ellipse
