A circle has a radius of 32 inches. Find the arc subtended by an angle of:
60 °
135 °
5/4 pi radian
I'm taking that you mean "arc length"
The arc length (S) is given by.....
S = rθ where r is the radius and "theta" is in radians
So 60 ° = pi/3 rads and we have
S = 32(pi/3) = about 33.51 inches
And 135 ° = (3/4)pi rads
So we have
S = 32(3/4)pi = about 75.4 inches
And for 5/4pi rads, we have
S = 32(5/4)pi = about 125.7 inches

It is good that you have posted here. (Catalina has come across from the Spanish site)
Do you understand CPhill's answer? If you do not it is important that you say so.
If you do then it would be nice if you say gracias and give him a thumbs up.
