If   2x - x^2 is negative , the result would be an imaginary number

 

so     2x-x^2 >= 0

         x(2-x) >= 0     for this to be true ....both must be >= 0

          x >= 0    and    2-x >=0

                                   2 >= x

 

0<= x <= 2
