Hi all , any one can help  me?

They are the same

the roots of f(x) are the x values that make f(x)=0

The equation of the x axis is y=0

so the roots of the equation y=f(x)  are the x values that make f(x)=0   true

HI, first thaks for your answer. I know that, but I am just looking for more information or an explanation. If this is the only point that I have to look for that's fine.

This is true no matter how many roots there are.
