The "bus" method is just the standard way of doing long division that we were taught when we had to do it by hand, back in the dim distant past! These days primary school children tend to be taught what is known as the "chunking" method first, and then go on to learn the "bus" method. You divide 22 by 5 and then 5 by 5.
22 divided by 5 is 4.4, so you can round it to 4.

I've never seen this method before, but after reading about it, it seems like an easy way to perform "long" division. Thanks, Anonymous....I'll be giving you a "thumbs-up" for that one !!!
