Find x+1/x if
3x+2x−4=2(x+9)−(7−1x).
3x+2/x-4=2x+18-7+1/x
3x+2/x-4=2x+1/x+11
3x+2/x+7=2x+1/x
3x+1/x+7=2x
[(3x+1/x+8)/2]/(3x+1/x+7)/2
This simplifies down to
(3x^2+8x+1)/(3x^2+7x+1)
Yay!
I don't think it was meant to be this complicated...
3x+2x−4=2(x+9)−(7−1x)
3x+2x−4=2x+18−7+1x
3x+1x−4=2x+11
x+1x−4=11
x+1x=15
