8 to the power of 10 is divided into 2 and multiplied by 2 to the power 10. What's the answer??

A calculator will give you a decimal approximation:  5.5 x 10^11.

If you need an exact answer:  rewrite  8  as  2³

Then  8  to the power of  10  becomes  (2³)^10  =  2^30         (multiply exponent times exponent.

Now you have:  [2^30 / 2] x 2^10

   2^30 / 2  becomes  2^29      (subtrating exponents)

and  2^29 x 2^10  =  2^39      (adding exponenst)
