Find the slope of f(x)=−5x^2+4x+6 at (2,−6).
f(x) = -5x^2 + 4x + 6
Take the derivative.....this will allow us to get the slope at any x
f ' (x) = -10x + 4
So
f ' (2) = -10(2) + 4 = -16 = slope at (2, -6)
