How many distinguishable 15 letter combinfallations can be formed using 2 A’s, 4 C’s, 4G’s and 5 T’s?

If you have  15  choices, you will get  15!  answers; however, since some of the choices are repeated, this answer must be divided by the number of ways that they can be repeated.

The  A's  has be repeated  2!  ways.

The  C's  can be repeated  4!  ways.

The  G's  can be repeated  4!  ways.

The  T's  can be repeated  5!  ways. 

Thus, your answer will be:     15! / ( 2! x 4! x 4! x 5! )
