Dana was picking strawberries to sell and placing them in baskets on a table. The number of strawberries in the basket is 4 more than the number of baskets on a table. If b represents the number of baskets on each table, which expression can be used to represent the number of strawberries on 5 tables?

I will assume that every table has the same number of baskets.

there are B baskets on a table

Each basket has B+4 strawberries in it.

So on one table there must be B*(B+4) strawberries.

There are five tables so there must be 5B(B+4) strawberries.

You got me good, Anonymous.

Let me try.

b+4×5

That is the answer.

Yes, because if there are b baskets on a table, and you want to find how many strawberry's there are, you find the answer.

The only thing that you do is add and multiply.

Hope it helps!
