Given the following information for a right triangle: Side a=12, side b=9, side c=15

The hypotenuse is side c = 15.

The value of cos(A) is its adjacent length divided by the hypotenuse:  cos(A)  =  9/15  =  0.6000

the value of tan(A) is its opposite length divided by its adjacent length:  tan(A)  =  12/9  =  1.3333
