Answer:251.8 in^2 ( rounded to the nearest hundred

 

What I did:

Since you only gave the diameter of 17.91 I had to divide the diameter by 2 which gave me 8.955 (the radius). Then to get the area I had to first multiply 8.955 (the radius) by itself which gave me 80.192025. Then I had to take 80.192025 and multiply it by 3.14 (π) which gave me 251.8029585 in^2.

 

Shown in equation form:

17.91/2=8.955

8.955^2=80.192025

80.192025*3.14=251.8029585 in^2
