Welp, I'm doing this as well

The equation used here is aCOS(pX-h)

So plug and chug

a=5

p=pi

h=-1

y=5cos(pi(x) +1)

 

Amplitude  =  l 5  l     = 5

 

Period  .....  solve this :

 

  pi * x   = 2pi

 

x = [ 2pi  ] / pi   =  2  radians

 

Phase shift....  solve this

 

.pi * x +  1   = 0

 

pi * x   = -1

 

x = -1/pi   ≈  -0.3183  rads
