I have difficulty understanding the question.

If your question is: If there is $60 tax on $200, how much tax would be on $8?

then, assuming the same tax rate, set up a proportion:  60/200 = x/8

                                                     cross-multiply:                480  =  200x

                                                      divide by 200:                $2.4  =  x

If your question is: If there is $60 tax on $200, what would have a tax of $8?

then, assuming the same tax rate, set up a proportion:  60/200 = 8/x

                                                     cross-multiply:              1600  =  60x

                                                      divide by 200:           $26.67  =  x
