How do you input the recursion formula Vn = 18,000 (3/4)? (Or any problem for that matter!) I have trouble inputting these types of equations into the calculator because I do not know the first thing about this type of input, especially trying to figure out what to use to ensure I get the right results.

I don't think you can necessarily put in equations into a handheld calculator, some specialized calculators on the web may help but other than that I can't say much.

That isn't a recursive formula, though you could arrange it as one, e.g.,

\(V_{n+1}\ =\ \frac 3 4 V_n \)

What type of calculator are you using?
