What if our basic operations are actually wrong because 2 have no meaning but we have given a 'meaning' to it. So 1+1 kinda not equals 2.

Second question. What if my 10 means your 2.

Better explanation about the 2nd question.

If I wrote 10, and you think it's 10, but I am thinking that it's 2. Then I wrote 10 + 10 = 100. So you say it's wrong, but I say it's correct. So is maths really a thing? I am so confused but that's me who came up with the question.

We have always given a meaning to a symbol. So this is not a question????? I am more confused. This is a question but this is not a question. AAARRRRGGGGGHHHH. My head feels like being heated!!

Hi

im bored

No I don't think that my 2 could equal your 10. While we created the symblos and pronunciations of numbers, unless you were tought that 2 was really 10, it's probably not wrong. If it helps, think about it with physical things. If I have 2 cookies, how could I possibly have 10. along that same line i could never simply make 80 cookies appear by adding 10+10. So unless you were educated to beleive that the number 10 meant the quantity 2 to most everyone else, it's pretty much completely irrational to say that our operations are wrong in our time when communication and globally spreading information is easier than ever. Colors, however, may fit in this question better because one human cannot see through another's eyes, so there is no way for us to know if any human sees the same colors as the one next to him.
