Can someone explain how -1+1/2x5 on top of 1+1/2 is 3/2?

\(-1+\frac1{2\times5}=-1+\frac{1}{10}=\frac{-10+1}{10}=-\frac{9}{10}\)

\(1+\frac12=\frac{2+1}{2}=\frac32\)

You should bracket them, so that we know what goes first, like this:[-1+ 1/(2x5)] / [1+ 1/2]

As it stands, it doesn't add up to 3/2. More like: -3/5=-.6
