How can I calculate the surface area of a sphere with a radius of 3.6cm?

The formula for the surface area of a sphere is A=4*pi*r^2 . So for this equation you would need to substitute "r" for 3.6 .

A=4*pi*3.6^2
A=12.566*12.96
A=162.85536
