A fitness has set a goal to have 500 members. The fitness center already has 150 members and add an average of 25 members per month. the function f(x)=150=25 represents the membership after x months. graph the function to determine the number of months it will take for the fitness center to reach its membership goal. Is the function continuous or discrete?Explain

I believe that the function should be:  f(x) = 150 + 25x

Graph the function and find the x-value that makes the y-value equal to 500.

The function is continuous because you can put in whatever number of x that you want. However, the situation that it reflects is discrete because fractions such as 3 356/1098725 don't make sense. Your answer makes sense only if you use discrete values (whole numbers) for x; so the situation is discrete.
