-x  <  -x + 7(x - 2)

-x  <  -x + 7x - 14

-x  <  6x - 14

Subtract 6x from both sides:

-7x  <  -14

Divide both sides by -7; since you are dividing by a negative, change the direction of the inequality.

   x  >  2
