So we will solve this like this :

3/5 + (-4/6)

=3/5 - 4/6

=3x6/5x6  - 4x5/6x5   ( we are doing it like this to get the same denominator)

=18/30  -  20/30 ( now we wil simply subtract it)

= -2/30  9now we will reduce it to simplest form)

= -1/15  ANSWER

I hope you have understood by now but if not then please be free to ask)

I hope this helps !

ND , becoz i found this one easy for me to answer thats why i answered it , please dont think any wrong reson for me answering this even after u already had!

i like these kind of problems so thats why i answer them!BTW your answer is much better than mine!i think that becoz i like ur answer more!mine is a lil simple becoz it was getting a lil hard for me to explain!

Since we are adding a negaive fraction, it is the same thing as just subtracting that fraction.

35(46)

Now let's find a common denimator between these two fractions. I believe 30 is the lowest common multiple between these two fractions, so let's use that. (We can also reduce our fraction after we get an answer, so it's not the end of the world if you don't find the lowest common multiple.)

In this next step, I just multiplied the top and bottom of the first fraction by 6, and the top and bottom of the second fracion by 5.

No, don't worry about that at all rosala!

I actually like it when people answer after me. If we have multiple people answering and getting the same answer then we know it's right!
