$\frac{x}{x - 5} = \frac{4}{2x - 4} + \frac{2}{x + 3}$

for starters x cannot equal  5, 2 or  -3

$\frac{x}{x - 5} = \frac{4}{2x - 4} + \frac{2}{x + 3}\\ \frac{x}{x - 5} = \frac{2}{x - 2} + \frac{2}{x + 3}\\ x(x-2)(x+3)=2(x-5)(x+3)+2(x-5)(x-2)$

Now expand out and see where it goes.

It did not fall out for me.
