'Convert each angle measure to decimal degrees. Round to the nearest thousandth of a degree.'

20°54'

38°42'

91°35'54"

34°51'35"

274°18'59"

165°51'9"

Can someone explain how to do this on a scientific calculator? The teacher told me you use just a calculator and press certain buttons...

One way to do it is just to add the degrees to 1/60 times the minutes plus 1/3600 times the seconds. For example:

91+3560+543600=91.5983333333333333
