3 7/10 + 2 1/13 + 4 7/50= I changed from mixed numbers to improper (top heavy) fractions;

37/10 + 27/13 + 207/50 = I converted all to have a common denominator;

2405/650 + 1350/650 + 2691/650 = 6446/650 = 3223/325 = 9 298/325

I'm (fairly) sure I have the correct answer but my book says it is 9 47/50

Can anyone set me straight, who is right, the book or me?

You are correct!

Answer book can be incorrect (even though that's rare).

Did you copy the problem correctly?

Are you looking at the right answer in the answers?

Double checked all the obvious stuff like me reading/copying it wrong and all the other answers are correct so I guess it's one of those rare ones.

I was fairly sure I had it right but it's good to get it confirmed from someone else.

Thanks.
