I am going to go through the 2 possibilities of what this question means.(5^x-3 and 5^(x-3))

5x3=105x=13x=log513Which is about 1.59

5x3=10x=log510+3Which is about 4.43

5x3=105x=13log5x=log13xlog5=log13x=log13log5

(log(13)/log(5)) = 1.593692641167082
