How many values of $r$ are there such that $\lfloor r \rfloor + r = 15.5?$

None.....to see why.....note that the only possible solution would have to lie between 7 and 8 or between 8 and 9......but, if r lies between 7 and 8, the answer will be less than 15.5, while, if r lies between 8 and 9, the answer will be greater than 15.5....

None.

When r = 7.999, floor(r) = 7, and their sum is 14.999.

When r = 8, floor(r) = 8, and their sum is 16.

All values of 15 are skipped.
