how do I find remainders in a calculator

If you want the remainder when 50 is divided by 6 youcan put it into the web2.0calc like this.  

mod(50,6)

50mod6=2

If I divide 41 by 7, my calculator shows 5.857142857.

Then, I subtract 5 from that and my calculator shows .8571428571.   (The 5 is the quotient.)

Now, I multiply this by 7 and my calculator shows 6.             (Multiply by the number you originally divided by.)

This indicates the quotient was 5 and the remainder was 6.
