How would you times this!!!!! -5a2 + -11a2 ????

For my first answer, I didn't see the word "times"; I just added the two parts ...

Did you mean that -5a² was to be multiplied to -11a²?

-- If so, multiply -5 times -11 to get 55     and multiply a² times a² to get a^4, 

    for the answer  55a^4

-5a² + -11a²      Since the variables are the same, both a², add their values:  -5 + -11  =  -16.

=  -16a²
