If x ≥ 2 and y ≥ -3 what is then the smallest value 2*x + y^2 can have?

X can equal 4 and y can equal -2

4×2+(2)2=12

Shouldnt it be x = 2 and y = 1. Then you get the answer 5.
2*2 + 1^2 = 5

x is greater than 2.....so 3...and y can be 0

2×3+02=6
