But 0 is a number! It doesn't have a positive or negative form.
Why, you may ask, don't you put a negative sign in front of it?
Because it isn't negative.
Then why, you might ask, do you leave it alone? You do the same with positives!
You do have a point there. But you can add a plus (+) sign in front of a positive too. Most of the time it isn't necessary, because you always put a minus (-) sign in front of a negative number, but you can put the addition sign to show positive numbers. When you do so, 0 doesn't get one.
