f(x)= 4*x²  +  2*x  -  2

f(3)= 4*3²  +  2*3  -  2

you can simplify it

f(x)= 4*x²  +  2*x  -  2

f(x+1)= 4*(x+1)²  +  2*(x+1)  -  2

and you can simplify it.

Can you see how I am just replacing x with whatever is in the bracket?

The last one you do the two seperately and then add them together.

Guys thanks for answering, but I was wrong it must be f(x)=4x²+3x-2. If you can solve it for me thanks in advance but if no it's okay 'cause I knew how to solve it because of you guys smiley

f(x)=4x2+3x2f(3)=4(3)2+3(3)2=25..f(x+1)=4(x+1)2+3(x+1)2=4x2+8x+4+3x+32=4x2+11x+5

f(2)+f(2)=4(2)2+2(2)2+4(2)2+2(2)2=16+42+1642=28
