How much work is done on a 7.5 kg bowling ball when you lift it 1 m?

This is what I think

F=ma

So the force needed to lift the ball would be 7.5*9.8 kgm/s^2. (Newton's)

 

Work=F*d = 7.5*9.8*1 kgm^2/s^2  (Joules)
