I'm doing a Physics class. What is the scientific notation for 70,000,000,000 ?

It depend upon the number of significant digits; if two, the answer is 7.0 x 10^10.

Two significant digits give you the 7 and the 0 in the first number.

The exponent is 10 because that is the number of places that you move the decimal point to get it from the right-side end of the number to the place right after the 7.
