Are you sure you typed this question correctly? The plus sign is definitely a plus sign? Please double check.
I think it should be a multiply sign.

If it is multiply then you need to write 4 as 2 2 and 8 as 2 3
then make just one indice on the left hand side
then solve the 'indice' equation.
