What is the result of multiplying 2.5 x 10^10 times 3.5 x 10^(-)7? it would really help with my homework, and could you tell me how to solve this kind of problem?

     (2.5 x 10^10) x (3.5 x 10^-7)     <--- When multiplying, numbers can be arranged in any order.

=  (2.5 x 3.5) x (10^10 x 10^-7)     <--- When you multiply numbers with the same base, add their exponents.

=  8.75 x 10^3
