Multiply through by y:

y2 - 9 = 10y

Subtract 10y from both sides:

y2 - 10y -9 = 0

This is now in standard quadratic equation form.

y210×y9=0{y=534y=34+5}{y=0.8309518948453005y=10.8309518948453005}
