We can solve this with a proportion

520/52 = x / 1200     were x is the total salmon population

10/1  = x/1200  

10  = x/ 1200    multiply both sides by 1200

I'm assuming that K is a point, instead of a distance.....

The distance between J and L  = 93 - 18   = 75

If K  is 2/3 of the distance between J and L, it could be located 75 *2/3  = 50 units from either point

So.....K could be located at 18 + 50  = 68

Or...it could be located at 93 - 50   = 43
