Find the two y values corresponding to x = 4 

4^2 + y^2 = 25 

    y = + - 3           so now find the distance between   (4,3) and ( 4, -3) 

                  distance = 6      between A and B 

The 'x' coefficient   will be the result of   1 * (-23x)   + 14 * x   =   -23x + 14x  =   - 9x  

so the coefficient in question will be -9 

x * y * 42 = 630 

x*y = 15 

x and y   are   3 and 5    or    15 and 1 

Use the two labelled points to calculate the slope  =   (-5-4) / ( -1 -5) =  9/6 

In   y = mx + b form this becomes     y = 9/6 x + b     sub in any point on the line to find b = - 3.5 

so the line is      y = 9/6 x - 3 1/2     re-arrange 

                          - 9/6 x + y = - 3 1/5 

                                                              divide thru by - 3 1/2 

                             3/7 x  - 2/7 y  = 1      so a = 3/7 

Vertex at 3,1    and a point on the parabola is  0, 7 

Vertex form :

   f(x) =  d ( x-3)^2 + 1       sub on the point 0,7   to find  d = 2/3

so the equation is now 

    f(x) = 2/3(x-3)^2 + 1      which expands to    2/3 x^2 -4 + 7      so    a = 2/3       b = - 4    c = 7    which when multiplied together = -18 2/3

First , simplify this equation to:

 x^2 + 15x + k = 0      Where   a = 1    b = 15    c = k 

   if the discriminant  (b^2 - 4ac)   is equal to zero, it will be a 'double root' 

             b^2 - 4ac = 0 

                15^2 - 4 (1)(k) = 0 

                  225 = 4k 

                    k = 225/4 

If given     a - 1/a = 0 

                   then   a = 1/a    

Sub this into the first equation 

    a^3 - 1/a^3   =    (1/a)^3 - 1/(a^3)   =  1/a^3 - 1/a^3 = 0
