OK mclovin....these are all the same...just different numbers
equation 2 says that y = 2+x Put that in equation 1 solve for x then use this value of x in one of the equations to find y
try it
Take the SECOND equatiion and re-arrange:
y = -3 - x Now substitute this into the first equation to solve for x this is jsut like your last question,,,,,just different numbers...
try it ....post again if you need more help
These are equations for lines......where they cross (intersect) is the solution to the system......straight lines only intersect at one point....one solution.
You are given what y is equal to in the first equation....use this value in the second equation.
2x + 3 (x-8) = 1 solve for 'x'
2x + 3x - 24 = 1
5x = 25
x = 5 now use this value of x in EITHER of the equations to find y
y = x -8
y = 5-8
y=-3
numerator = 2 * -3 = -6
denminator = -3 * -3 * -3 = - 27 - 6/-27 = 2/9
Just put in -1 for x and calculate the value.... Got it?
Just use your keyboard to type in the ' ! '
Each statement except for the second one is true
Yeppers.
Imagine it is like a spring stretch it .....coils further apart ...less humps
COMPRESS IT....coils closer together...more humps
This has been answered before:
Amplitude Max 8.3 ft min 0.4 means amplitude = 7.9/2 = 3.95 check
Shited up to midline 4.35 check
Period = 24 2pi/24 = 1/12 pi check
sine wave
Looks good to me
