The problem said all odd divisors, so 2, 4, 6, 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, 28, ect are all wrong. 

Um... but can't it also be one, because 8/2(2+2) turns into 8/2(4), or 1. So I think thats why he said it could be both 1 and 16. 

The answer is 729 because 3^6 is 729.

I suppose you mean compound interest. There are 30 bi-months in five years. We can turn this is 24000*1.01^30, which equals to 32348.37, when rounded to the nearest hundreth.

5x^2-20x-2=0. Using the quadratic formula, we get (20+-sqrt(440))/10. We can turn this into (20+-2sqrt(110))/10, or (10+-sqrt(110))/5. I calculated both answers, and got 4 and 0. 4*0 = 0, so I think the answer is 0.
