When you answer a question, people have to option to give you a thumbs up,(giving you 1 point for normal users & 3 points for moderators) or a thumbs down (-1 points for normal users and -3 points for moderators)

So in short, answer questions with good answers, and that will get you points.

A good way I like to remember Order of Operations is by remembering this phrase

Parachute (parentheses)

Expert (exponets)

My, Dear (Multiplication & division)

Aunt, Sally (Addition and subtraction)

So you just go down the list from top to bottom with your order of operations. :)

Well, 30% is really 3/10, isn't it? We can just multiply 3/10 by 52/65 then!
