So we would do this like

8 divided by -2 3/4

8 ÷ (-2 3/4)     ( so out here we would  change the mixed fraction into improper fraction by multiplying 2 by 4 and and adding 3 to it)

=8 ÷ ( -11/4)   ( and now we will  change the division sign to multiplivcation one as well as reciprocate the fraction)

=8 x ( - 4/11)    ( and now out here as none of these can be cut or reduced we will simply multiply 8 with 4 and add the subtraction sign as well )

=-32/11   ( and now we can change this into a mixed fraction as well as a decimal)

= -2.9090909090909091        A decimal answer!

=2 10/11    A mixed fraction answer!

So we would solve this like

8x + 4 = 28     ( first out here we would take 4 to the other side of the equal sign and also change it from positive to negative)

8x = 28 - 4       ( now we would simply subtract 4 and 28)

8x = 24    ( and now we will take 8 to the other side and divide it by 24 and so this will give us our x )

x = 24 /8          ( and now dividing them both will simply give us our answer)

x = 3       ANSWER

And i forgot one thing, we have to open brackets also on the first step!

So we would do this like

64 + (-80) -2   

= 64 - 80 -2  ( out here we have put minus sign in 64+(-80)  becoz plus minus is equal to minus , if u still dont get it then i mean if there is a plus and a minus sign we would choose minus sign so now we will  solve this by steps)

= -16 -2    ( out here we had subtracted 64 and 80 but now we will add -16 and -2 as there are two minus signs here so we will have to do addition and also we will add minus sign to the answer)

= -18    ANSWER
