suppose youve got this " 1/√5 - √6" and have been told rationalise the denominator!

so we will do it like

1/(√5 -√6) x (√5 + √6)/(√5+√6)

this is how we rationalise!now according to the property (a+b)(a-b) = a^2 - b^2

so here also we will do it like this

= √5+√6/ (√5)^2 - (√6)^2

now becoz square can the root so we have

= √5 + √6/ 5 - 6

= √5 - √6/1

or 

√5 - √6

that is how we rationalise the denominator!

so we will do this like

75/100 x 405

= 303.75%

we got this after reducing that!
