You should graph it but i do slopes so much in school that i can figure it out in my head.
so a line goes through (-4,2) and (2,5)
They way i do it is i use rise over run.
So it rises -3 and runs 6.
so -3/6
Then simplify
-1/2

Usually you would use a calculator for sqrt's but you kinda of memorize the 1st 15 sqrt's after a while.
The answer is 12 btw.
The integer 2 is the same as the number 2 so...
it is 2+2=
4
