To use your caclulator, you will need to change from sec to cos.

sec = 1/cos

So if you want the arecsec(3.456) first find 1/3.456 = 0.28935

Then find the arccos(0.28935).

Another way of looking at the problem:  625  =  5^4    so  625 ^ 4  =  (5 ^ 4 ) ^ 4  =  5 ^ 16

The rules of operation say that you should do multiplication before addition, so a direct interpretation is:

3 plus 33 times 76  becomes  3 + 33 x 76  becomes  3 + 2508  which is 2511.

A negative number multiplied or divided by a negative number results in a positive number.

9x + 4y - 4  =  0     

Putting in the x-value of -1, we get:

9(-1) + 4y - 4  =  0

Simplifying:

-9 + 4y - 4  =  0

Getting rid of the -13 by adding 13 to both sides:
